DVD Full Form: Digital Versatile Disc/Digital Video Disc

DVD Full Form is Digit Versatile Disc, it is also known as Digital Video Disc . It is an optical disc storage device that is used to store high-quality data which includes Audio, Videos, Software, and even Operating Systems. To read data from the DVD we require a DVD player. Though the size and dimensions of a Compact Disk(CD) are similar to DVD, the latter provides a better quality storing format. These days we do not use DVDs so often because now we have other mediums to save and shear data, but 6 to 7 years back it was very popular. Various tech companies used to manufacture and sell different types of DVDs, and amongst all the types, DVD-ROM was mostly used by the people.

Moreover, in DVD-ROM, data can be read not written or erased by the user.
