WIFI: Wireless Fidelity
WIFI is a local area wireless technological masterpiece that grants the power to transmit data from the electronic device to another or allows us to connect to the internet using ISM radio bands and is also spelled as Wi-Fi. It makes communication between computers and electronic devices possible over a wireless network and is an important part of the underlying tech of wireless local area network commonly known as WLAN.

Wi-Fi network parts are rooted in one of the 802.11 standards built by the IEEE and affiliated by Wi-Fi confederation. It accommodates a standard procedure to establish a connection with the wireless network. The trademark of the Wi-Fi alliance is Wi-Fi which is also used as a brand name for products working on the IEEE 802.11 standards.
Wi-Fi can work with various kinds of devices for instance personal computers, video game console, smartphones, digital cameras, tablet computers, etc. It can also be applied as a means to devise a hotspot connection in reach of 20 meters (66 feet). However, it has a smaller degree of security than a wired connection as the intruder would not require any physical connection to use the Wi-Fi.
